Harry Forbes Brown, water meters; born Red Oak, la., Dec. 10, 1872; son of George B. and Mary (Forbes) Brown; educated in public schools of Red Oak, la., and Iowa State Coll., Ames, class of 1892; married Ames, June 18, 1895, Blanche Granger (died Oct. 15, 1905); married 2d, Cecelia L. Arnold, of Owensboro, Ky., Jan. 17, 1907; 2 sons: Harry A., Herbert B. Was engaged in various mercantile and banking enterprises at Red Oak, Ia., 1892-1900; came to Chicago, 1900, and has since been western manager for the Neptune Meter Co., of N.Y. City. Republican. Mason (32 degree, K.T., Shriner), K.P. Club: Hamilton. Recreations: motoring, hunting, fishing. Home: 835 Fair Oaks Av., Oak Park, 111. Office: 565 W. Washington St., Chicago.
