Boswell was a rural neighborhood in Daviess County, Kentucky, lying below Sorghotown along the Green River.
The Owensboro Examiner described it on April 9, 1875 as lying two miles below Sorghotown to the right of Panther Creek, extending down Green River to Calhoun’s or Hazelwood’s Ferry, and covering an area of about 2½–3 miles. The soil was above average, undulating and mostly sugar tree land, very adaptable to growing tobacco.
