Amos Smedly and wife Ella Moore Smedly was an African-American restaurant and boarding house owner in Owensboro circa 1890.
Their establishment was located at 208 West Main Street, and served both the colored and white populations. Amos Smedly was injured in the Colored Passenger Excursion
