May 4, 1881 - 12 miles southeast of Owensboro, in one of the healthiest portions of the county. Medicinal springs gush from the rocky cliffs. “Wolf Hill might rival other mineral regions in sending away the halt and maim all healed.”

Oct. 27, 1882 - finest farming and mining sections. Not mined as much as other areas, but fortunes could be made. One of the healthiest sections.
