Possum Trot, Kentucky

It was named by J. P. Waltrip who said the narrow hollows, located 2 miles south of Mount St. Joseph were full of possums. Located on the Delaware and Calhoun Road about 18 miles from Owensboro. In April 1875 the wheat crop was growing well and the farmers were looking forward to big tobacco and corn crops.
